Why we're gathering

You could be thriving. You've just gotten used to the ache.

The business you keep meaning to start. The career move you keep postponing. The next step you can see but haven't taken. Most of us aren't stuck because we lack ability. We've simply learned to live with discomfort we never chose.

Change Your Shoes is an intimate daylong gathering for women ready to get clear on their goals, think bigger, and take practical steps toward their next chapter. Through conversations on business, career, mental health, reinvention, and life transitions, you'll leave with inspiration, real connections, and a 30-day action plan. This isn't about writing a five-year plan. It's about your next step.

Midway through a trial, attorney Crystal Wright slipped off her painful heels. Before announcing her ruling, the judge paused to say it was the highlight of her time on the bench. She had spent twenty-three years in the courtroom with aching feet and never once thought to just change her shoes.
The story behind the name
Your 30-day plan

You'll leave with a plan, not just a feeling.

Every woman receives a reflection card at the start of the day. You'll fill it out quietly, talk it over with the women at your table, and return to it before you go home.

By the end, you'll be able to say what you're moving toward, what you need, and the one step you'll take by a date you choose.

My next step
  1. Where am I in my life right now?
  2. What am I carrying, and where am I uncomfortable?
  3. What do I want to accomplish or change?
  4. What is one step I can take in the next 30 days, and by what date?
The speakers

Women who've walked it.

Attorney. Entrepreneur. Philanthropist. Founder.

Crystal S. Wright is an award-winning attorney, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and the founder of Change Your Shoes: The Gathering.

As the founder of an award-winning Atlanta law firm, a member of the prestigious International Academy of Family Lawyers, and an attorney admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, Crystal has built a career marked by excellence, determination, and purpose.

But her journey was anything but conventional.

A mother of six who pursued law school in her thirties, Crystal knows what it means to have a vision without knowing exactly how it will unfold. Guided by her faith in God, she's learned that purpose often reveals itself one step at a time and that faith and action go hand in hand.

Through her own experiences, Crystal has come to understand that growth doesn't always require more sacrifice, more pressure, or more discomfort. Sometimes, it requires the courage to recognize that what once worked for you may no longer fit the woman you're becoming.

That belief inspired Change Your Shoes: The Gathering, an experience created for women who are ready to have honest conversations, explore new possibilities, and take intentional steps toward what's next.
